1969 Police Special

Rare 1969 FLHFB-Super Sport Police Special and mostly original. I've owned this since 1982 and am the second owner. First owner was the city of Jennings, O Police department and I have their notice to bid sale the bike. I rode the bike a lot until 1989 when life got more complicated. In 1989 the engine, ranny and generator were rebuilt and the bike has not seen a lot of miles since (odometer has not worked since I bought the bike but the speedo and trip odo do work). The engine build included a mild stoke to 84 inches, orted & polish, ndrews E2 cam, nd new valves to accommodate unleaded gas. I have the parts list on that build. In early 2000s I took everything out of the frame and had it and some of the metal parts powder coated. The tins were repainted to match the original CA Hwy Patrol black and white paint scheme. I also put 5 gallon tanks on at the same time to replace the 3.5 gallon tanks and installed a NOS wiring harness. The sale will include the original 3.5 gallon tanks, indshield, uggage rack, ir cleaner, ootboards, il leaks and any other parts I have that are original to the bike. The city of Jennings took off the police lights and siren before selling the bike.

This is not an unrestored barn find but it is a very nice example that looks and runs great. It's ready for riding and bike nights. I always get compliments every time it’s out.
