1999 HARLEY DAVIDSON DYNA WIDE GLIDE FXDWG
This fully custom wide glide is a recent bank repossession. Since it is a repo I do not know all the work that has been done to the engine. When I bought this bike it did have a noisy valve train. After inspecting the engine we determined two things were bad. Slightly bent push-rods (hardly noticeable) and collapsing/ bad lifters. The engine has Screaming Eagle heads and the SE upgraded cam plate. The cam has a very big lobe. Not sure which cam it has though. The heads have compression releases. That with the big lobed cams leads me to believe this may have the 103 stage 4 kit. I have installed new S&S adjustable push-rods and Woods lifters. The lifters that were in the bike looked stock or a cheaper lifter. The engine is repaired and runs and sounds great. The bike itself has a ton of upgrades all of which are from HD. Most of if not all of the bike is chromed including the front forks and swing arm. The paint is a very good quality. A dark blue with light blue flames. The paint does have a few chips as it appears the bike may have been dropped or damaged by the repo company. There are chips on both sides of the tank and on the front fender.(see pictures) The left rear turn signal and left mirror also have some small scrapes. The bike has Python exhaust and quick release back rest. It has the hardware for a quick release windscreen but does not come with the bike. The tires are fair with about 60% tread life left and the brakes are about 60% pad life. All the lights, orn and gauges work 100%. The bike is carbureted. It has been safety inspected and on a reliability run. The motor, lutch and transmission all work and sound as they should.
