For Sale is my 1997 Harley-Davidson Road King Police Bike. The bike is in great shape with a clean and clear title. Granted, t has about 43,700 miles (which is typical for an Ex-Police Bike) but it might go up a little as I still take back and forth to work once and awhile. Its a stock fuel-injected 80" EVO based motor (believe it has larger cams than standard 80" motors of the same vintage) with a 5-speed transmission;appears to be all stock; has the dual disk front end. I bought the bike in May, 015 right here on eBay from a guy in NJ. Its been a great bike and Iwanted to throw a 26" front wheel, ir-ride, tretched bags, tc but I need to sell it as my racing quad (Yamaha YFZ450r) was recently stolen and I have to sell the bike to make up for the loss on my racing quad; so my loss is your gain.
Since I purchased the bike, added a few newer parts to help with a more modern look but still wanted the bike to have its original characteristics and riding capabilities:
- Trask V-Line +2 bars in black (retains factory wiring which was run internally)
- Arlen Ness knurled grips in black
- Day-Maker headlight in black (super bright HID/LED with the purple hue @ night)
- Headlight trim in black from Custom Chrome
- Smoked front and rear fender lights
- Smoked turn signals
- Drag Specialties Predator low-profile seat
- Goodrich chrome & steel-braided fuel lines (rebuildable)
It has a clean and clear title - does notappear to have been wrecked at all; aside front a dent on the front fender (nothing major) and a couplescratches here and there. The bike hasn't been abused or ridden hard; its been a great bike forcruising back and forth to work and out on theoccasional weekend. Its not my first Harley and itwon't be my last. Please feel free to ask me any questions or if you would like more photos; just let me know.I do have the bike listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early -also, ny bidders with '0' feedback must contact me before bidding.
Thanks & Good Luck!
