Harley Davidson XL1200R Storz equipped

The bike up for auction is my 2006 Harley Davidson XL1200R. I purchased it in 2013 from Brookside Motorcycle Company in Tulsa, klahoma. It really stands out in the crowd. It is a Sportster Conversion liberally equipped with XL-R race quality parts from Storz Performance in Ventura California. (Steve Storz was a racing mechanic for the Harley-Davidson factory dirt track team.) This bike faithfully captures the pure racing essence of the Harley flat track bikes while remaining totally street worthy. Storz claims an 83 pound weight savings over a stock 1200 Sportster.

Billet rearset footpegs

Billet Shifter

Billet rear brake pedal & reservoir

Storz/BUB chrome exhaust system

Seat, iberglass seat faring & mounts

Underseat tail light & license plate mount

As you can see in the photos, he custom Green, hite and Black paint are show quality and the graphics are integrated right into the custom stitched saddle. A few of the parts could use a little polishing – especially the aluminum primary cover, ut otherwise the bike is nearly show ready. Not too long after purchasing the bike, y lifestyle changed and I have put less than 100 miles on it! The bike is located in my heated and air conditioned shop where it has lived ever since I purchased it.

DELIVERY

My preference is that the successful bidder would pick up the bike at my Bentonville, rkansas shop. I would prefer to pass the bike on to the new owner in person. As an alternative, would be willing to deliver the bike in an enclosed trailer for $2/mile, ound trip, aid in advance. If the buyer prefers to use a commercial carrier, strongly recommend an enclosed crate. In all cases, he sale FOB Bentonville, rkansas and is an “as-is” sale under the laws of the state of Arkansas.

REASON FOR SELLING

I have a number of specialty collector cars and motorcycles and I’m thinning the herd since retirement. I no longer ride, o all the bikes are going first.
