1987 Harley Sportster 883

This 87' Harley Sportster 883 is a true survivor. Only 16k original miles. The paint is original and in amazing condition, t does have a few scratches and nicks as one would expect from a 28 year old bike.
When I bought this bike it was literally as it came from the showroom floor. I made a few mods and performed service work to get it back up to par.
I have to stress that this bike is in amazing condition. The previous owner took such care with it and I carried that on. Never dumped. It draws compliments wherever I go. I have literally done everything needed, ust get on it and ride! Its quick around town and I changed the front sprocket so the 4 speed can keep up on the highway too!
This one has the optional larger tank, nd it also has optional performance exhaust. I was told that these were dealer installed Harley aftermarket, re-Screamin Eagle.
The front forks have been rebuilt and have Progressive lowering springs. The rear shocks are Progressive lowering springs. Ride is BETTER than stock.
The rear sprocket is new, he front sprocket is new and one tooth bigger to add about 7mph to the top end. I recently did a 4 hour trip and got 65mpg at highway speeds!
The front handle bar is a Builtwell Flat Track bar.
It has a Builtwell Billet Throttle
It has stainless steel Magnum Shielding clutch and front brake line
The carb has been rebuilt and tuned for performance, ew intake manifold seals, ew phenolic intake spacer
It has brand new Avon tires (about 1,000 miles on them)
The original spoked wheels have been cleaned, olished, nd re-trued
Clutch is adjusted, t has new Spectro fluid in the chaincase, edline synthetic 20w50 motor oil, nd Bell high performance brake fluid
The seat is custom made by Sick Saddles
Battery was new last year, olding a charge perfect
Just hop on and go!
