1947 HD Knucklehead FL

Selling my 1947 Knucklhead FL which I inherited from my uncle and hardly every ride. It is a rare, ne-of a kind and turns heads like no other. It pulls like a tractor and leaves a bit of oil when parked like all Knuckleheads are want to do. I have a clear CA title in hand. $2,000 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours, he rest via certified cashiers check only. This is what I know of the bike:

• The 74 cu in engine was rebuilt and then sat in a garage for several years. It apparently has no more than 1,000 to 1,500 miles on it. No signs of damage or welding

• Brand new S&S carb Super E shorty

• Matching belly numbers (47-6190)

• Period specific speedo which does not work

• An electric starter switch was built and fires the bike up instantly

• The headlight comes off a 56' or 59' Oldsmobile and is mounted to customized mount built by my uncle

• 4-speed tranny with a suicide clutch

• New throttle cable and fuel line

• New ignition switch

• The paint is a copper/brown powdercoat. There are a few spots where it's peeling due to age

• The tires are Continental's are in excellent condition

• Used La Pera seat in basket weave with a couple small tears

• I believe this is a 6 volt

• OEM cheesegrater bumpers

• Vin 47FL2125 with clear title in hand
