The 1200R also receives brand new graphics in 2004.
The combustion chambers and ports are a high flow design, esulting in an increase in potential air flow both into and out of the cylinder.
Redline on the 1200R is 6000RPM, n increase of over 15%*.
The 1200 powertrain uses highperformancecams, hich helps to increase torque over 16%*.
A compression ratio of 9.7:1 and the new 6000 rpm on the 1200 Evolution engine round out the performance features of the 1200 powertrain. With these changes, 1 octane or higher fuel is required for the 1200 Evolution engines.
