This machine has been constructed using an all original frame, orks, heels, lincher rims, eat frame, 927 Harley J engine, nd transmission. I have made this using many vintage quality Harley parts. The engine is beautiful and has absolutely NO broken or repaired cylinder fins. The engine cases are excellent as well. The engine was completely restored using new pistons, ings, alves, prings, earings, nd balanced flywheels. The generator was rebuilt, xcellent correct reproduction coil, nd rebuilt distributor. Yes the charging system works. The rebuilt carburetor is a Linkert M18. The transmission has been totally rebuilt, nstalled new lip seals for improved oil retention. New clutch springs and fiber plates, ew hardened sprocket assemby riveted on the basket. Original rear band brake assembly using new agressive shoe material for better stopping power. The original dash has been restored on the inside only. I left the old patina on the exterior. Fuel tanks are peashooter narrow reproduction with operational oil pump. The frame and forks have been a matched set for decades, ossibly since new, nd I did not perform repairs on either besides cleaning and re-greasing fork springs. The paint on the frame and forks I'm guessing has not been altered for decades also but most likely not original. The pin striping on the forks I'm guessing is very old as well. I added the NEW paint to the tanks, enders, attery box, andlebars, nd chainguard to closely match the chassis. I fabricated the handlebars and the chainguard. Both front and rear wheels are original HD. The hubs are in excellent condition, ith new rollers installed. The rear hub has the double zerk, oller bearings. Original clincher rims that run very true. The seat is a half pan Messinger #4. The front and rear fenders are NOT HD. Tires are firestone chevron pattern 3.85 x 20. The better floorboard mats with the webbed backing were used. I built this bike to have fun around the town and did not intend to sell but a financial decision has forced this to go. This is not an all original machine from the 1920's, o if you don't know what your looking at, lease ask questions or dont bid. I have approximately 50 miles on this machine. Starts easily, ery fun to ride. As with any antique, cannot and will not guarantee perfect function for 50,000 miles, r even around the block. It's just a machine that you may like to putt around with. I am located in Nebraska, could deliver this to Davenport. I can aid in the shipping process, r can be picked up locally. I have a fair reserve, ust ask questions for additional details. Hopefully the pictures will answer many. I prefer payment in cash. This will come with a bill of sale only.
