1970 FLH  ShovelheadOriginal SurvivorA True Barn Find32. 15 MilesHas all the patena of a 44 year old bike that did not have a barn in it's early years. I purchased this bike from the second owner who bought it in 1982 with 12. 00 miles on it. My dad was his neighbor and remembers when he bought it and knows the history on it. So here is the information I got. The original owner purchased the bike to make a trip to Alaska with a group of friends. After the trip he did not ride it much as his wife did not like him riding. After several years of only riding it occasionally he sold it to my dad's friend in 82. Living in northern Idaho my dad's friend did not get to ride it much himself. He only put 20. 00 miles on it in the 32 years he owned it. He said he rode it more in the earlier years of owning it but these past 15 years or so he has only ridden it a couple times. He said the bike sat it the barn more than anything so he decided to part with it.  The tires and oil lines where old and cracking so I put new tires on it for safety. I drained all the fluids. changed the oil lines to the oil bag and replaced all the fluids.  This bike runs and rides great. I've put about 30 miles on it since changing the tires and fluids. The speedometer needle bounces around when going down the road but the odometer works and is accurate.  I encourage you to check the bike out in person or have someone inspect it for you.
