Antique Ironhead Sportster that has had a lot of work done to it over the last couple of years. Starts up cold first try every time. Equipped with both electric start and kick start.
Common problems with Ironheads are the voltage regulators and the dual fire point ignitions. Both have been upgraded with quality parts. Points were replaced with Ultima Single Fire Ignition and the stock mechanical voltage regulator was swapped out for a Cycle Electric solid state regulator.
Rides, andles, nd shifts great. Gets between 38 and 41 MPG. Finding neutral while stopped can be a pain sometimes, ust takes some getting used to. I've ridden this bike to DC, ichmond, A Beach, nd NC several times; it's ready to ride as is. That being said, t's an antique Harley Davidson. It's not perfect and it requires maintenance to keep it running as smooth as it does now. It also leaks oil, ike every other Ironhead I've ever seen.
