1972 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLH SHOVELHEAD

For sale is my 1972 FLH shovelhead. Nice mostly original bike with original paint. No dents but a few nicks and wear here and there. Not original paint on bags. Not bad for a 43 yr old bike. Good strong running bike with 13718 original miles. I am the 3rd owner. Top end was done 4yrs ago. Was smoking a bit so ringed it and freshened up heads. Bike has only had 1200 miles since then. Less than 200 in the past 2 years. New drive chain, ear wheel cylinder & brakes, new battery (last week), ew wheel bearings and seals, ew tires 200 miles ago. What's not original are the s&s carburetor, hrome handlebar controls and the mustang seat. I have the original controls, carb and air cleaner. They will go with the bike. The exhaust is original back to where the mufflers would be. Out back are straight fishtip pipes with baffles. I do not have the original mufflers. I do have the original windshield. The lexan will need replacing as it's hazing, ll the trim is excellent. I haven't ridden this bike in a while, 've got others, ut it is started and warmed up regularly. The mainshaft on the 4 speed transmission has a drip. Bike is registered to me. No title as Ga. does not title vehicles 25 yrs old or older. Will be sold with bill of sale. Bike is located 20 minutes south of Hartsfield International Airport Atlanta. Shipping will be the buyers responsibility. I will help with arrangments with your carrier. A $500 deposit in my paypal account will be required at end of auction. Balance to be payed in cash, ashier or certified check.
