Description

The bike is a 1967 Harley Davidson / Aermacchi Sprint SS 250
Selling in non running condition and without a title
I bought this bike because I thought it would be simple to get it running and could throw a couple parts on it and just start riding and restore as I go. I professionally The carbs were professionally cleaned, djusted the tappets for the valves, et the points and it does have spark but there isn't enough compression to start the engine. The piston doesn't have a hole in it but the cylinder looked like it needs to be honed out and new piston rings installed. I have 3 other motorcycles I would rather work on and why I'm just going to sell this bike.
What the bike does have is a very very rare factory high pipe, n what I consider to be decent shape as there are no dents in it and only superficial rust, owever, hould be stripped and rechromed to restore. Also, he bike had a chrome factory skid plate which I've seen on a few bikes but still a factory option that is now hard to find, o apparent dents but does have some pitting where the chrome is coming off.
The only items of real significance that I can tell you are missing are...the seat, ool box, attery box, attery, ear fender and front fender, ear tail light, nd key...items in the picture and currently on the bike are all that I have.
The tires hold air but are bald, he chain is there but should be replaced as there are some stuck links, ll the electrical components are present but the only thing I tested was the coil, peedometer glass is cracked but the face platedoesn'tseem damaged, he chrome rims are in poor shape and need to be replaced, he throttle cable is broke, he front brake lever is bent and froze, he rear brakes work when engaging the foot lever but the cable is tight so the lever has to be manually pulled up to release. I'm not sure how well the clutches or clutch lever are but the bike does roll when in neutral, hifts through the gears and seems normal.
I can help ship in just about any way and could also put on a pallet and load onto your carriers semi or truck using my forklift at no additional charge...I wont find you a shipper or someone to pick this up and you need to make all those arrangements yourself including payment unless you contact me prior to purchasing regarding assistance.
This bike is being sold mostly whole but as is, o title, ot running, robably for parts but a good base for a restoration.
