1976 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLH Ironhead

This bike was bought in a few boxes back in 2002. Spent a few winters bead blasting all painted areas and polishing all aluminum. Had the motor rebuilt and tranny gone over. Started building from the frame up and either rebuilt parts or bought NOS when available or aftermarket. Then had the sheet metal painted a Chevy Fire Red that has some orange peel in spots that I meant to buff out but never did. The parts bought are to many to list here. I did just put a new battery in it to get it running for resale. Being an old bike it does leak a little of oil now and then. I did this for my wife who only put around 200-300 miles on this rebuild. She hasn't ridden it in four years and doesn't seem to have any interest any more. I really don't want to sell it because it looks great in my garage but it seems I'm always walking around it so it has to go. Did I mention this runs great and sounds great.
