1986 First year Heritage Softail, FLST, original paint, NICE!

This is an original paint first year Harley Davidson Heritage Softail in the iconic signal red & cream two-tone paint. Paint and chrome are very good. Bike runs very well.
I bought the bike as a certified Harley Davidson from an authorized Harley dealer in Iowa in several years ago.It runs like a top. The top end appears fresh. There are no oil leaks at the rocker boxes or cylinder base which are common to EVOs.Then it had 42,130 miles. It now has 42,250, ostly just driving around Daytona during Bikeweek. I had a new clutch installed in 2014, hanged the oil, he front and rear brake systems flushed and the rear caliper rebuilt this past March. It is ready to ride anywhere. I have my receipts. The Keihin carburetor was upgraded to a laterHD branded CV unit. I do not have the original Keihin. It has a Mustang seat, lip on mufflers and an aftermarket oil cooler. The remainder is original.
The Heritage softtail came out in 1986 and gave birth to the nostalgia movement in motorcycles. This is that first year one year only model. The following year (1987) saw the introduction of the FLSTC (classic) which added a set of bags and a windshield. This is the original model, he naked one, hich was the start of it all.
