I am sitting at my computer where I sell a few things for myself and cars & bikes for others... The hard thing? Up for sale is my 1984, ate 84 as the factory refers to them.

I could count up the states, he early years, he daily riding in any weather:))) Love it.
I rode this from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic & back. This is a BadAss long distance sport Harley.
I bought this bike from the red & white team in August of 1987. They had bought a truck load, 0 stuffed into a trailer. I met someone that worked for Arlen at that time & Arlen had bought atrailer load at auction too. This bit of folklore not to leave out. The factory cut the barrels down to add compression.
Some history, nbsp;just like at the early years at Ferrari, ach vehicle may be a bit different. The barrels on the late 84'sthe first few? First few hundred had their barrels cut down just a bit to buildcompression for power to get the bi, he CHP bid. Hey?Nobodytold themotor builders:))
This bike was aTorranceHighway Patrol bike. With me? Only twoevasions, had no idea anyone waschasing me to Garberville? The Redwood Run in the early years.

Comes with the 1984 to 1987 5 speed FLT / FXR service manual.Police Parts catalog Late 1984 to 1988.(This parts catalog is such a big help).Ok, had an employee,I asked him to go order me (he was a biker, echanic, TC. a service supplement for the FXRP, y bike is a late 84, e got me a 1986 book. Its yours. There is enough paper here to help you like it did me.
I have a three ring binder ofrecites, TC.Full historybackto thebeginning, ugust of 1987.
118,828 miles on the bike.25,835 miles on the 89" S&S kit and full motor rebuild.The heads were done by Hannan's in Hayward Ca... Kick ass job.(The bike recently got a new cam, ueling lifters & more see bellow.)
Performance Machine rear brake set up, rogressive springs in the front forks.
The bike was painted in 1989 & held up well, bit of fading & a scratchto two..
Replaced in the last 1,500 miles. (some just done).Fuel lines,Starter,Clutch fork & throwout bearing, il service, attery, e bonded faring, lutch cable, tarter shaft & hardware, dle control, il seal inside cam cover, as cap,heavy duty battery cables, ED tail light, n the motor, ueling Lifters, djustable push rods, rane 246B cam, lugs,ignition, tarter relay, lug wires, oil, ustom heel toe shifter.
In the last 5,000 miles.Velva Ride HD motor mounts, he top motor mount that holds the coil too was replaced with a thick one, oly handle bar bushings, ntake seals, nbsp;Wagnerpod lights, peedo cable, ivot shaft & Sta-Bo stabilizer bushings for the rear swing arm, heel bearings & seals, ear chain, aster link, ires, il lines, tarter mount, esh ground strap, ear chain seal, ront bottom motor mount.
"Works Shocks", nbsp;sent back to Works for rebuild.

This is a used bike and really has been sitting the last four years due tohealth or injury:)) I rode it 200 miles give or take a week ago & she is a blast.
There are a few things I have not addressed, ear brake light sending unit, he horn, tc.
The bike is being sold as is nowarranties implied & for sale locally.
As all HarleyDavidsonshe always needs TLC.

I have a Thunder Header that was only on the bike for ten, hats right tenminutes & I took it off and wrapped it inplastic this is for sale too. I also have extraafaring for additional ifyou'reinterested.
