1942 Harley Davidson flathead 45 bobber barn find patina flanders bars bates

1942 Flathead Motorcycle for sale! All factory original parts along with period correct accessories! I was told when I bought the bike that it was raced in and around the oklahoma area back in the day by a couple of different fellas. The frame appears to be a wr racing frame from the looks of the rear vertical reinforcement supports found just forward of the axle plates. The front end has been professionally rebuit with all original parts as seen in the photos. the bike has original inline flanders trees and 3 1/2 inch risers. the tanks are super nice factory original early tanks with a KILLER patina to them. the dash cover is also a correct factory original. the rear fender has been custom modified out of original fenders and also has killer old paint on it. the Motor was restored by truett and osborne and I have all reciepts for the build. Nice rebuilt magneto!!! super HOT spark! it is brand new condition top to bottom and ready to fire. trans was restored also. The bike has a Killer old seat! I think its a bates. the tires and tubes are brand new over original factory rims and the hubs appear to have been professionally built as well. the bike comes with all of the parts you see in the pictures. the bike needs to be plumbed and wired basically. the only big parts that I see missing are the front and rear brake back plates and handlebar cables and brake cables. the bike needs some nuts and bolts and hardware here and there... but thats all easy stuff. I purchased this motorcycle last year with the intentions of completing it and just havin a super cool fun bobber to knock around on. The ONLY reason I am selling this cool little scoot is because I have several other projects that need funding. I hate to sell this bike... all the expensive and hard stuff is already done! This is gonna make the PERFECT period correct bobber! The cool part about buying a bike like this is knowing that all of the important mechanical stuff is already done and done well.... by a professional shop. you CAN NOT COME CLOSE to professionally building a bike like this with these parts for that money.........not even close!
