1966 Harley Davidson Shovelhead Motor OEM

You are bidding on a 1966 Harley Davidson Shovelhead Motor. This is a very complete motor in good condition. Good VIN number and matching belly numbers. Original jugs, eads, nd rocker covers, nbsp;in very good shape. No major broken fins or damage. The front exhaust has repair, ut threads are in good shape. Please see pictures.
The cam cover is a panhead, hedistributoris aftermarket, don't know the brand but looks like a quality one. I pulled top to look at points, hey look clean and good. Original smooth cam covers and distributors arefairlyeasy to find.
I bought this motor a little over a year ago from a reputable shop on the east coast. I can provide that information to winning bidder. The motor was pulled from a running bike. Other than storing it in a clean dry place and cleaning it, 've done nothing to the motor. I was originally going to build a chop around it for a customer, ut I've decided to go a different direction.
Since I've had the motor it has not been opened. The compression is good and top of pistons look clean. I'm not 100% sure but there are signs of a recent rebuild. Main seal looks relatively new, ocker cover gaskets aren't cracked or brittle, eads are very clean.
These are getting harder and harder to find complete and in this shape, hate to sell it, ut need to fund other projects.
