1945 Harley Davidson WL45 Flat Head

1945 Harley Davidson WL45. Bike is in nice condition and has been rebuilt according to previous owner. Bike is obviously not all original and has reproduction parts on it. The left foot board rubber is wrinkled from what looks like a gas leak at one time The bike is 6 volt with a volt regulator. It can be changed back to a breaker if desired. I had the bike running 3 years ago but not started since. I did not ride it as there was snow at the time and have not had a chance to get back to it. It will need a battery and probably carb (Linkert) cleaned and tuned. The engine has strong compression. This is a 70 year old motorcycle. Bid with this information in mind. I pulled the heads to check the validity of the rebuild and engine shows to be rebuilt. Heads were checked, rued and reinstalled. Clutch and transmission appear to function well. The person I bought the bike from rode it 231 miles as you can see from the aftermarket speedo in the picture. There is a box of extra parts that I will include along with the original battery box. Extra parts are some springer parts and pistons with other small parts. The bike was stored in a heated garage. I simply do not have the time to devote to this bike and need to reduce my collection. (Daughter in college and Dad has tuition shock) I have a clear title in hand. I am not trying to misrepresent this bike in any way. It will need some work to hit the road. I will not refund deposit or sale of bike. If bike is to be shipped buyer will make arrangements and pay all costs. I will help in any way. All funds must clear before bike will be released.
