Description

Hello!

In this auction we have a Harley Davidson ERS Sprint from 1970. As you can see in the photos, t is in good (mostly unrestored) condition. By looking at the bike and the condition of the engine, t looks to be a very low hours bike (I say it’s a low hours bike because the mileage was never counted and it’s a factory race machine -- not a comfortable bar hopper or cruiser). You can see (and hear -- and it IS LOUD) how this bike runs in the video here.

You’ll see this is set up for dirt track with dirt track wheels and a different carb and seat. Don’t despair, owever, ecause it DOES come with the original wheels, arb, nd seat as shown in the photos. You won’t normally find these parts at every swap meet you go to, o you’re already ahead of the game if you want to do a restoration or set it up for a vintage scrambles race.

The rear shocks are the correct Ceriani shocks missing only the top cover -- the same type of top cover on the Sprint street bikes. If you would want to take these back to 100% you could easily obtain these covers while you already have the hard to source racing Ceriani shocks.

Look the bike over and you won’t see much past the typical wear and tear and age related characteristics. If you are a collector of vintage factory racing motorcycles, ou won't find a better bargain than these Aermacchi factory race bikes. Just compare them to the cost of Ducati factory race bikes and you will see this is a much more agreeable entry fee to the world of vintage Italian race bikes. The photos tell the story here, olks, nd if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

This is a matching number bike (43 out of 102 manufactured) and it comes with a bill of sale (these were not bikes people titled so there isn’t a missing title -- there never was one).

Happy bidding!

Please feel free to contact with me any questions you may have after you review the photos and description. I can return messages here quickly, r you may reach me at 740.547.6567.

Shipping, eturns, nd payment –

Shipping is to be arranged by the buyer. You can have a freight company pick it up or you can pick it up in person. Other options will need to be discussed ahead of time. I will accept bids from people outside of the United States. I require a non-refundable Paypal deposit of $200 within 48 hours of the close of the auction. If you bid on this, lease be serious about your intention to buy.

Bidders with less than 10 feedback will need to call me before bidding. I have had too many bidders with low feedback scores back out of purchases and it has hindered my ability to sell these bikes.

Bidders with a history of bid retractions will also need to call me before bidding. I've been on eBay for over a decade now without having a need to retract a bid. If you have questions about the reserve, will be glad to help you. If you have second thoughts about your commitment to buy -- you shouldn't have bid in the first place.

Failure to comply with the two requests made above can result in your bid being cancelled and you will be blocked from bidding on future auctions. No hard feelings -- we just can't do business with you.

The final payment will be accepted as cash upon pickup or through a verified payment method. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions prior to bidding.

Since we are dealing with vintage motorcycles, ou are purchasing the bike as is with no warranty and no returns accepted at this time. Please see my feedback, owever, nd feel comfortable that you are getting what you are being shown as it was described.

Buyers in Indonesia, r in countries where importing motorcycles or parts is forbidden or likely to be held up in customs/etc, lease have an agent in the United States who can handle the shipment and transport. Once again, ontact me with any questions you have.

Again, nd I cannot stress this enough, f you have any questions or concerns prior to bidding please feel free to ask and I will contact you as soon as possible. I'm happy to take the time to try to help you and communication can make the transaction much easier for everyone. Thank you for your attention!
