I bought this bike new in 1999 but preferred to ride the Honda Rebel 450 in the background since it was easier for me to handle. I should have had the 883 lowered for my height but never did. Then I went abroad to work and when I came back, was older and my women friends were older and had sold their bikes (and I didn't have the upper body strength to ride either bike).
