1941 Harley Davidson Flathead BARN FIND! Great Patina LOOK! If you are looking for a Harley Flathead or Panhead, nucklehead or Shovelhead, ook no further. This Harley Flathead is a barn find and exudes patina.
This Harley Flathead was restored sometime in the late 70's or early 80's and is wearing the same paint that was applied at that time. Has scrapes and chips as well as wear spots.
Some of the things done to it since my internship include.
Completely rebuilt transmission
Rebuilt Linkert Carb
Honed cylinders, ew rings.
New valves, prings, etainers and keepers.
New pogo seat springs!
I did NOTHING to change the patina on this bike, t looks fantastic.
If you don't want attention, his is not the bike for you. Stop and you get a crowd around it.
Runs and shifts perfectly. Tires are 95%. Starts on first or second kick, old or hot.
