This bike is in incredibly beautiful condition. There are a very few nicks here and there (that I have documented in the photos) but overall in exceptional condition. You can still read the Harley Davidson on the foot pegs! This bike runs and rides GREAT. Like any good Harley - it will start on the first kick - - or the 20th - - depending on the mood it is in! Only flaw is that the rear taillight is cracked. You can probably find one on eBay. This is an exception piece of Harley Davidson history.
A couple very unique things about the M50. M50's have a magneto so they ONLY kick start. The kick on an M50 is on the RIGHT - not the left. Even more unusual - - it kicks forward - not towards the back of the bike!!! M50's are three speed - - on the left handgrip. That's right - you pull in the clutch and turn the hand grip to shift. They are gas/oil mixture and they run forever. This one runs GREAT.
If you are a Harley enthusiasts - - the M50 is a must-have. And THIS M50 is in the best shape I have ever seen. I'm serious - it's like a work of art. If it wouldn't be such a shame to take it out of commission - - it would be great as a piece of art!!!
