This is a pivotal model for Harley-Davidson. The FXWG release in 1980 was the second factory custom that took the world by storm!
Never before had any factory produced a bike with stock forward controls, he iconic FL dash and 41mm forks with a wide configuration and a 21" dual disc front wheel.
It became an instant classic! It was copied in shops and garages across the country and the world. This model survived until 1984 and was replaced. The bike that replaced it was of course the FXST Softail.
Only 2 previous owners!
It is almost all stock! Including spark plug wires, urn signals, andlebars and controls, ngine, rimary, ransmission, oot control and more. The speedo has been changed to an NOS Harley-Davidson replacement
as the original no longer worked. It registered miles but not speed. I am unable to verify the miles as accurate, ut looking the bike over it looks like it has never been apart and it did have a stock front tire.
Both tires are new this spring, ll fluids are fresh brakes have been flushed charging system checked and all lights and systems work as they should.
This FXWG runs and rides like the day it left the factory.
There will be no disappointments on this one!
It has that beautiful Shovel sound and feel that is lacking in models built today.
