HARLEY DAVIDSON 1960 Servicar

For sale: 1960 Harley servicar. This is an amateur restoration using aftermarket parts. The restoration is true to form, he only alteration obvious is the shortened box ( original metal box ) fenders and the relocation of the tail lights. The bike is in good running condition and generally starts on the second or third kick. The headlights have been rewired and two new rear wheel brake cylinders have been installed. The original Linkert carb has been rebuilt. A new six volt battery was installed last season. The bike has three forward speeds and a reverse with the tank shift located on the left side. Does not burn or leak oil! The speedometer is non functioning (?) and the manual spark advance cable needs readjustment or replacement. The bike is fun to ride and is a conversation starter wherever it goes. It has taken a trophy in every competition it has been entered in in upstate New York in the past two years.
