1974 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER 1000 CC ELECTRIC START PROJECT NO RESERVE!!!

1974 Harley Davidson Iron HeadSporster 1000 CC Electric Start Only. This Motorcycle is being offered as is, here is. It is a good solid foundation for an easy Project, ar Hopper or Bobber. My dearest friend on this planet owned this bike for the last 39 years. It sat for a long period of time. He was no longer able to work on it, or did he have the desire to do so. He passed it along to me to enjoy. I did a barrage of maintenance, emoved the fuel tank, ad it boiled out and serviced, ebuilt the original Zenith Bendix Carburetor put on new mirrors etc. I got the bike running. I decided to make sure the timing and contact points setting were correct. In doing that I made it worse, hrowing the timing off, utting too much strain on the starter motor and burning it out. I rebuilt the starter. When I installed the starter I miss aligned it and destroyed the starter gear. Long story short, ’m too old, oo tired, y body is too broken up and my hands don’t work well. I have given up. It is time for someone younger to enjoy this motorcycle. It will easily come back to life and be very cool!

THE HARLEY IS A 1975 MODEL,NOT A 1974 AS I HAD LISTED IT.THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. JUST A BRAIN FART.
