1978 Sportster short-chop, ironhead bobber, full custom

for sale, 978 Ironhead Sportster, rand new rebuild, ull custom, ew paint, any features!!!!

FRAME: Hard tailed on frame jig (done correctly) bodyworked, nd painted with 2K industrial black

FRONTEND: New wheel bearings, ebuilt forks, ew 20 weight oil and fork seals, ork strut made with original fender strut, ecorative antique brass knucklesformed to fit (have original front fender that would have to be riveted back on if wanted).New neck bearings. New turn signals/running lights. Headlight is a vintage Unity spotlight, ith new sealed beam headlight installed, ustom mount.Custom made "rabbit ear" handlebars. vintage Harley Davidson mirrors (have both, nly one on in pictures). New mini speedometer.

ENGINE:Reworked heads, ew valve guides and seals, alves lapped in. New top end, ylinders,,rings, nd pistons (STD. bore). S&S Super E carburetor that has been gone through, lder Zambini Bros points cover. Dyna S electronic ignition with coil. Lower end all gone through, easured and Tested. Rebuilt starter and generator. Transmission received NOS 3rd gear (due to small stress fracture) and has been shimmed correctly. New 530 o-ring chain, nd custom built skateboard wheel chain tensioner, ith RUSH speed bomber ceramic bearings. Relocated oil filer, nd oil cooler installed (gets HOT in Texas, ooler climates might want to shroud). All new James gaskets and seals. Very few miles on engine...still needs remainder of break-in (will continue with short rides to keep her stable)

OTHER: Gas tank is an "axed Bob" with second cap filled in, and painted old school hot rod flames (pinstripe done by hand, s such has flaws and variations, s it should). Custom made seat, -pad, nd solo saddlebag all covered in red leather and sealed. Upper license plate bolts are LED for plate. Custom, ld school trailer fender, ectioned and center rib (all 16GA steel). Custom made sissy bar. New brake lights/turn signals/running lights. Rear wheel has new bearings.

TIRES: Great shape, till have great tread, ront is old and would think about replacing it, ear is in great shape

There are so many things done to this bike and that are "one-off's" not another one like her (the "jenny" on oil tank is just a sticker so it can be removed easily). This bike has been meticulously gone through and built as close to a "period style" short chop from late 60's early 70's. Most add on parts were sourced from antique shops, r vintage parts from shops. Buyer will be responsible for shipping, can pack and crate/pallet if needed, ut will NOT be responsible for transport.
