1981 Harley Davidson FXWG Wide Glide Shovelhead in very good shape. This is a 1 owner bought brand new at North Carolina Harley Dealer by manager at Harley for 20+ years. This is a matching numbers bike with original engine, rame, ransmission ect. This bike has been very well taken care of and it shows, bout 10 years ago was painted to the current Confederate Edition Replica using OEM Dupont Harley Confederate paint coded color. This was very well done and looks great, aint has held up amazing and only a couple very small chips and shine bright with no signs of fading and a really cool color that you never see. Thanks in advance.This bike is in great shape and runs great. The engine top end was rebuilt 5900 miles ago by one of the better engine builders in the Carolinas. The speedometer/odometer was replaced at the same time as the top end and was replaced with a OEM Tombstone speedometer(these go for a lot) not a cheaprepop. Was done a number of years ago and ridden very limited through the years since. Owner said original odometer had 15k on it when it was replaced. When I purchased it it had sat a couple years ago and all I did was clean carburetor, ew battery and it fired right up and runs like a top. Only thing I see is a has a common transmission seal leak and rear wheel not in great shape but front is in perfect shape,chrome in amazing shape hub, pokes and rim look brand new. Other than that the bike is really in amazing condition and pretty well stock. Still has the stock carburetor that is just an S&S cover on the stock carburetor. Also has a added harley Davidson Oil cooler mounted on the front and a good set of AR type exhaust that are very good back pressure performance pipes. They are not loud but a very good exhaust system. Please examine all the pictures for the exact condition.
