This is a REAL old school custom clubbike (just like the custom shops are trying to recreate today with new parts). It would cost over $30,000 to build this bike in a good custom shop with a real Harley engine, itleand transmission.

Disclaimer: I ride old Harleys, nd am not a collector or expert...I have not researched this bike beyond asking a fewpeople to look at it. In the notes below, am stating my opinion from what I see...so take it for what it is...my non expert opinion.

Please look at the photos and ask for any more photosif you need them.

I am not going to take the bike apart to answer questions, ut I will photoor describeanything thatyou need to see or want to discuss.

Ifyou are unsure, lease ask someone you trust who has all the books, xperience withknuckleheadsand knows what they are looking at. I wish I could help more, ut I don't have the knowledge or time to research further.

Ipurchased this bike in Connecticut, rom the widow of the previous owner. I was told that he ownedthe bikefora long timeand that it was custom built decades ago.

The engine has good numbers on the block and matching case numbers (see photos). Ido not know how to properly check the age of the transmission. The transmission has clear numbersthat match the back of the engine block (12454 stamped on the engine block and transmission case). There is also a 0 1 (the zero is sideways) on the transmission case (see photo) and an A 0 on the back of the engine block.

There is at least one repair on the engine case (show in the left side of the engineS/N photo).

I am unsure about the age of the frame, o please look at the photos and let me know if you need more. I have been told it is a 1950's Harley frame, ut I really don't know. I do know that the side car loops that would normally be on a 1947 frame are not there.

The front end, eat, arb, pin on filteranddisc brake assemblies areclearly newer than 1947.

The disc brakes, ustang seat, lug wires, loor boards, pin on filter, hift knoband a few other items have been replaced or addedsince the original build. The carburetor is a CV and runs great. The seat is very comfortable, ut probably should be replaced with a pogo spring mountsolo seat to make the bike more origional.

I have put a few hundred miles on this bike. It hasseveraloil leaks, ut runs, hifts and stops well. The bike starts easily with 2primestrokes and 1-2 kicks. The odometer & speedometer are not working.

I have had a lot of old Harleys...nothing is quite as cool as this bike. It draws a crowd everywhere that you go. Some people want to look at the engine, ome want to see you kick it over and hear a knuckle idle...somejust want towatch you ride and jockey shift the bike.

This is my first CV carb bike. I like how easy the bike starts and how easy it is to adjust the idle with the CV. Previously, had only S&S and Linkert carbs...the CV seems to me tostart easy (like he Linkert)andhas goodpower likethe S&S.

I bought this bikefrom photosjust for the knucklehead engine & clear Harley title. I was planning on puttingthe engineinto a 2013 custom roller (the roller will be for sale soon on eBay, ee my other auction later this week).

When I saw this bike for the first time,I was shocked to find out thatthis bikewas a nearly untouched, EALold school club style custom. Once I figured out what I had, could not bring myself topull the engine and take the bike apart, o I decided to sell this bike exactly as I found it.

This is a jockey shift, uicide clutch bobber with ahydraglide front end and CV carbjust like the motorcycle clubs and street racerscustom built them in the1950's and early 1960's.

Personally, would put a 1947 springer front end on it and a pogo solo seatand ride it just like it is. You would have a $25,000 bike for a small investment in the front end and seat.

You could also restore to 1947 knucklehead stock and have a $35,000 bike.

Whatever you do, t is an awesome bike witha good Harley title and numbers matching knucklehead engine and what appears to me to be a original transmission. Whatever you do, his bike will only go up in value...just askanyone who bought a knuckle (10) years ago what they paid for it and what it is worth now.

If you cannot handle the jockey shift, t could easily be converted toan original style tank shift with rocker clutch.

You can alsoswitch it to afoot shift/hand clutch and have what everyone else has thatare building new copies of the old bikes today.
