1969 Harley Davidson Rapido 125 in very nice original condition.

Very nice and original 1969 Harley Davidson Rapido 125. These bikes were made in Italy by Aermacchi for Harley Davidson to competewith the Japanese lightweight bikes. Bike usually starts with one kick and runs out strong. The rear brake is on the left and the shifter is onthe right(like the old British bikes). Shift pattern is one up and the rest down. Everything works on this bike; headlight(low and high beam),horn, nd tailight(although brake light does not, aybe just a bulb). It has a Dellorto carburater(high quality stuff) with a remote float bowl.
Bike starts easy as you can see in the video. It is not a politically correct machine as it spits out blue 2 stroke smoke while making it's cantankerous2 stroke racket, ut it's music to the ears of 2 stroke lovers. She does have a few flaws: some of the paint work on the gas tank is showing it's age,there are two rivets missing from the seat, here are two screws missing from the exhaust shield and she weeps oil from the right side engine cover(needsa new gasket, asy fix) But that's nitpicking, verall she is very nice and very original.
