Description

1952 Harley Davidson Panhead FL. Clean 1952 HD FL title in my name. I have owned the bike for almost 15 years and the previous owner had it for 25 years. Original wishbone frame with all sidecar mounts still intact. Neck was cut and raked back in the 70's. I believe I measured it a while back at around 40 to 42 degree rake and a six over front end. I took the engine apart all the way down to split cases and rebuilt it two years ago. Rockers, alve springs, alves, istons etc etc were all replaced with new. The engine has around 500 miles on it. I have matching cases for the bike but when I purchased it the previous owner had a 54' right side case put on but the original right side matching case is included in the sale. The vin numbers are clean and look great on the left side original case. Currently has original 55' heads. Rear head had a leak and some fins were cut and welded. Original triple trees, ower legs, rakes and transmission. I also have the original kicker cover which was replaced last year because it had a crack but I believe is repairable. I upgraded some things on the bike to make it more dependable such as the S&S Super E carb, allory electronic ignition, &S oil pump, ycle Electric generator with regulator, 2v battery and open belt primary with new clutch hub and plates. I have the original email with pictures between the previous owner and myself which states the work done to it previous to me which was 84" S&S stroker kit, ld and rare 468 sifton cam, ardened valves, olid lifters, tainless spoke star hub rear rim, tar hub front 21" rim, 5 tooth tranny sprocket. The bike is jockey shift with a rocker clutch. Only one other person besides myself, good friend of mine has ridden the bike for about 10 miles over the past 15 years. Bike runs good and shifts fine for an old pan. Also she usually starts first or second kick if you know what she likes. Leaks a little here and there, ore noticeable out of the pushrod bottom seals which were replaced two years ago and have purchased new cork seals to replace again but have not done it yet. She is a good old pan that has never let me down and I have ridden it the way it is. I am sure I am forgetting a ton of more info so please contact me with any questions. Also I will post a video on YouTube of a cold start and an idle video. http://youtu.be/FLL9qt3pDMQ http://youtu.be/mBsBN6ZUyf8
