Up for grabs here is a rare opportunity. This is a 1971 Harley -Davidson XLCH Sportster. Still in original paint, ought from the original owner, still have the old original Yellow Ohio 1971 title (all numbers matching- frame/title/engine). Comes with both original HD keys. It’s the XLCH model so it’s kick only. This bike had been in storage for 10 years but will clean up nice. The inside of the tank is very good. The old guy said it ran great when parked in 2005. Only parked for health reasons, ould still be riding today if healthy. It has a Mikuni carb upgrade but the original Tillitson is included. It also has upgraded 18” Borrani rims but the original rims and spokes are also included in the sale. The bike turns over and has good compression. No chipped fins on the heads or barrels. Showing 40,642 original miles. I have not tried to start it but I’m confident in his claims. The motor was freshened up at 30k by the famous Bobby Hoh (google him). I shifted the transmission into all four gears and neutral smoothly. Included with the bike is some literature including the original owners manual and the original sales brochures as well as other manuals and books. The headlight,hi/lo beam, aillight, rakelight, nd horn all work properly.

With that being said, his bike is 45 years old and opinions on condition always differ. It has normal wear and tear for its mileage and sitting for 10 years. No warranty what so ever. Update: I checked the oil, ut fresh fuel in the tank and hooked it to a battery box. The bike fired right up after a half dozen kicks. No smoke. Purrs like a kitten.
