1977 Harley Davidson FXE 1200 Shovelhead Motor

• Motor pulled from a running 1977 FXE was pulled for new gaskets and has been sitting too long so it's time to clear up the garage a bit.
• New gaskets from the base up, ew seals on the pushrods, tc.
• Lower end is in great shape, ight and ready to run
• Cylinders were cleaned up and are in great shape, tock size pistons.
• The motor is in great overall condition, nly damage is the rear exhaust port (please see pics) it was heli-coiled at some point and still has a small crack. It was being run as is but you may want to repair it. The front rocker box also has a couple of grooves in it, ot sure what caused them, ut they are only cosmetic.
• According to the book this would be one of the last motors made in 1977, ooks like there were 24, 17 Shovelheads made that year and this one is number 24,000
• Comes with OEM carb and points ignition.
