This rare motorcycle was originally built in the 1950's by NSU. NSU holds four world records for land speed on a bike reaching 211mph in 1951! This hard to find motorcycle was recently restored to a mint condition, nd is cleaner than any other bike of its kind.
This 54' NSU Max has a smooth blackfinish, nd accents throughout. A gold emblem rests on the tank of the bike as a reminder of the motorcycle's historical past. The traditional seat is a two-piece build with a classic style.
Everything about this classic bike has been fully restored. The Metzeler Block C5 tires provide safety on the road. The 1 cylinder 4-stroke 247cc engine includes dry sump with external oil tank and oil filter. Two small storage compartments are located on the sides and feature a keyed lock. The stunning gas cap features a Welt Meister design and is a marvelous accent to the tank of the bike. The solid NSU sheetmetal frame is strong and durable and features narrow 160mm drum brakes. The gas tank has a capacity of 3.1gallons.
