HARLEY DAVIDSON SHOVELHEAD Wide Glide

HARLEY DAVIDSON WIDE GLIDE I bought this bike from a customer of mine in May of 2009 with 10,226 miles it now has 10,332 that willchange very little. He took itto my shop first time and we put a NewS&S Ecarburetor on it 2nd time we put new Dunlop tire, new tubes and repacked the wheel bearings and replaced the wheel seals. we always use genuine Harley Davidsonpartswhen we can.Hebought this bike from Kirby,s Harley Davidson in 7/3/81.Titled July 22,1981 with 15 miles. I made a copy of the front and back of the title beforeITitled it in my name. now free and clear. Some one put dot 3 instead of dot 5 in the front master cylinder that's what happened to the paint on the tank from the master cylinder leak I removed the fluid and put dot 5 and bleed it the front brakes work but I would rebuild the frontcalipers and the front master cylinder because the calipers drag some. this runs out good and is pretty original. I have another right side tank same color and same pinstripe, ogo that goes with the sale. I have the owners manual andservice manual. The only little bad small dent on left tank and right.And front rim Bent a little on both sides but it rides great.Right turn signal rearbent. has some rust spots all over.
