Up for auction is my very nice restored 1941 UL. Therestoration was completed in 2014 and Ihave ridden it almost 1400 trouble free miles since then. This bike wasbuiltwith the nicest parts that I had collected over years of buy and selling motorcycles and parts. There are lots of NOS parts on the bike, he sheetmetal is all original and was in near perfect condition. Some of the NOS parts are exhaustheaders, -Pipe, lex covers, hift gate, hift arm, eadlight (was military green), ail light lens, oth dash lens, ash base, ront brake cable, ne grip (both were NOS but one cracked and fell apart and I replaced it with a reproduction from old dude), il sending unit, eadlight switch on handlebars, pringer springs, pot light bezels and lens, nd several other small pieces. This bike isnotpieced together with a bunch of junk and reproduction parts like most of the bike you seen on eBay. All of the major components ofthis bike are original harley parts, here are some reproductions parts which consist of, ost of the hardware, he wiring, ires, pokes, ootboard mats, as caps, il lines, nd gas lines. If you are lookingfor a very nice restored prewar big twin flathead, ou will Not bedisappointed with this bike!!
The bike was not only built AMCA quality standards, t was built to ride. The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt by Mr.Glen Harding of Martinsville, A. There is a Primo 8MM belt drive in theprimary to cut down onmaintainence, he hubs were rebuilt with new bearings, eals, nd gaskets and were laced to original 18" wheels using bead blasted stainless spokes. Thespeedometer was rebuilt by Janus in Canada. The bike starts easily, uns very strong, andles great withthe 18" wheels, nd goes down the road straight. The Skyway bluepaint was matched from an original can of Skyway blue paint that Ihave. The paint job is very nice, he rivets are not buried into the paint and it looks excellent.
The bike has several periodaccessories that I liked, he seat and saddlebags weredone by the best.... Michael Paquette at Worsham Castle Cycle Leather. They look amazing on the bike, he Glo BriteJewels are from Red Fox and look like the originals did, he 18" trim rings are from Carls Cycle supply, he Hanson Windshield is from Gary Gardner. The spot lights areoriginal Guide SH-2 lights that wererestored and an original curved spotlight bar that I had chromed.
The bike has been judged at 2 AMCA meets andreceived its senior first award, twould have been winners circle but I never had it judged for the 3rd time. It scored 98.5 at Denton, C AMCA meet in 2014 and 99points at Jefferson, A AMCA meet in 2014 where it was judged by Bruce Linsday. This is a very high quality restoration, ikes like this donotcome up for sale often. I am listing the bike one time with a fair reserve price, f it sells it sells if itdoesn't I will just keep it!!
Please look at the pictures and ask any question that you may before bidding, will sell the bike world wide. I have a Clear SC titlein myname.
!!!Mirror in the first Pictures is not included neither is the tag or the tag reflectors, r the battery. I haveseveral bikes and only 2 batteries that I swap around depending on which one I want to ride.!!!
