Shovelhead FLHS Harley Davidson 1982

If you're looking for new this ain't it. Previous owner replaced top end with new heads, ylinders and pistons. Then bought a new bike. I bought it out of the back of his garage and replaced the tires, e-shimmed bearing spacers and replaced bearings. Rebuilt the front end and replaced the neck bearings. I also added a new set of Progressive shocks on the rear. After riding it I found broken spokes in the rear wheel and upgraded to a 13 spoke mag and another new tire. I have the matching 13 spoke for the front that will go with the bike. It's equipped with an S&S carburetor and solid lifters.

This motorcycle is a good daily driver, wouldn't be afraid to ride it anywhere given the time and were I younger. It does mark it's "spot" after riding it. It's still self oiling the primary chain so that leaks a bit. If one tried the leak could be stopped, just haven't tried. At some point in it's life it was dropped so the handle bars are tweaked a little bit but still very ride able as it is. I love the thing I justdon't ride it enough to justify owning 3 bikes.

I was collecting the parts to update/upgrade the front end to improve the ride and braking. I have a set of later model (post 99) dual disc lower legs, oth calipers and discs. Still need tubes,springs and inner parts, rake line and master cylinder to complete. For $200 more over auction I'll throw in the parts I've collected.
