Very rare collector!!
This is a nice example of a rare and original vintage Harley Motocross. Has not been modified, as original wheels, ngine, hocks, ct. Fenders are in very nice condition, ound no cracks. The motor isn't free. Missing a few parts which are, he clutch hub, hrottle assembly, lutch lever and perch. I believe those parts are the same on the SX250 models, o those parts should be easily sourced. Overall a very nice machine!!!
Only 65 of these bikes were ever built!
The MX 250 was Harley-Davidson’s first entry into motocross and was a byproduct of the marriage of Harley, ermacchi and AFM. When AMF asked Harley to join the growing motocross market, ermacchi was a reliable source of two-stroke engines, o they teamed up and built this very cool bike. This was Harley's only motocross model, o 125 or 500 models were ever made. Below you'll find a list of specs they came with.
