1977 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster.
THE GOOD
In the past year the electrical/charging system has been gone through
including complete rewiring, eplaced generator and voltage regulator with a brand new Cycle Electrics generator/voltage regulator combo $400. Also upgraded the ignition to a Dyna S electronic ignition and brand new coil $375 These two additions really help for a reliable bike.
It is a 4 speed that shifts great. The tires are in good shape with lots of miles to go.
The Bad
The engine does need some work on the bottom end. Currently it starts and runs but makes noise in the lower end of the motor when you shut it off. As soon as I heard the noise I had it trailered back and haven't started it since so as to not damage it more.
I have my eyes on a new toy so this one needs to go.
It is currently located in Cookeville TN, nd I have a clean title in hand.
If you need a few days to come get the bike or while you arrange shipping that is is no problem.
Cash in hand if your coming to get it, r you can send a cashier's check ahead of time if your having it shipped.
