1999 Harley Davidson FXSTS Springer Softail Carbureted Cobalt Blue Custom

You're bidding on my 1999 Harley Davidson Softail Springer FXSTS. This is a beautiful bike, o if you're looking for one of these machines you'll overlook the fact that its got over 70K miles on the original Evolution motor. This bike was very well taken care of in order to reach those miles. The overall Cobalt Blue finish on the tins is very nice with no dents, cratches or damage. I've mounted a Saddleman seat on the bike as the original "plush" HD seat was uncomfortable and had a hideous profile (It is available to the winning bidder if so desired.) The chrome throughout the bike is excellent with only minor pitting on the rear Thunderstar mag. (Common issue with chrome plated aluminum wheels--however you have to look very close to notice the minor pits). Avon tires are in good condition on the front and rear. The Vance & Hines exhaust is incredible and in excellent condition. The bike starts in the cold and warms up nicely with the enricher even in the cold winter air. Bike has been stored since October and the battery is getting weak, owever a new one will be installed at auction end. I am not the original owner of this bike as I purchased it a year ago and I'm upgrading to another. The bike runs great and has incredible throttle response. The engine has never been apart and has no leaks where I park it. I don't know if you'll find a better bike in this condition with the upgrades this one has on it. This bike is setup basically the same way the Screamin' Eagle Springers were with the nice mags and heavy chrome accessories. Included is a fully chromed swingarm, tainless splash shield, hrome HD belt guard, tc, tc.The springer fork is in perfect condition with no rust or needs for anything aside from your unconditional love. The bike accelerates, hifts and rides like a dream and stops like its supposed to. I can tell you the ONLY issue is the HD tachometer (aftermarket add-on) has some unexplainable fault as it goes dead and reads RPM's erratically. (The tach is an easy replacement mounted the handlebars.) Please take a look at the pictures and be certain of what you're bidding on prior to placing a bid. Be sure your significant other (wife, irlfriend, oyfriend, usband, r partner in life however they're labeled) is aware of your intentions to own this bike.
