2003 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200S with LOW MILES, NEW

This motorcycle was purchased by a friend of mine brand new in June of 2002. She paid $10,989.40 for it, ook a motorcycle riding course, ut was still afraid to ride it. Her boyfriend talked her into the 1200 sport, here she probably needed the 883. The Sport has higher compression, otter cam, nd a little more horsepower. The motorcycle was parked in an indoor storage facility and was started periodically. The motorcycle wasn't registered for many years. When I got the motorcycle, he battery was completely dead. I put a new batter in it, urned the key, nd was very pleased that it had 86 miles on the clock. I flushed the fluids, leaned the fuel system and put a new battery in it. The bike starts and rides like new with no problems whatsoever. It really is a new bike. It still says "Dunlop" on the road area of the tire. Although they are the original tires, here is no cracking or dry rot. The bike has always been indoors. Right now it has 167 miles on it. The miles will go up slightly, s I need to ride it back to my storage facility and, eather permitting, may take it for a ride. I put 20 miles on it today. The motorcycle is all stock, ith dealer installed forward controls and clip on HD windshield. The cost out the door was $10,989.40. I have all the paperwork, wners manuals, tc. There is a very small dent on the front left side of the tank, hich is hard to show in a photo. It is very minor and I believe can be fixed with paintless dent repair. I feel bad riding it because I hate putting miles on it. I feel that it is a true time-capsule. Please ask questions before bidding.
