1966 Harley 250 Sprint H Aermacchi Cafe Racer Single Project Moto Giro AHRMA

I bought this 1966 "knucklehead" 250cc Harley Sprint H a few years ago to build into a street legal cafe racer to compete in Moto Giro here in the US. It is exactly what I wanted, ood chassis, ebuilt engine and the ability to install low sport bars and a fiberglas bump seat. A right proper Harley cafe racer. Well, ife got in the way and one thing after another got my attention as this bike sat and waited for me to get to it.
I have too many other classic, intage and antique motorcycle projects to do before I get this one, o I am offering it for auction rather than sit on this desirable year and model Italian Harley for several more years.
This is what the Harley factory team based many of their small displacement factory racers on, o you know they are terrific machines.
This one has strong compression (I believe the previous owner rebuilt the engine and possibly more), ecent parts and new tires. It is wired and has an old battery installed, ut does not run. I suspect it might need some basic attention (points, attery and some wiring) to get it back on the road. No front fender, rimmed rear one and no tail light. Brakes and steering seem good and so do the wheel bearings.
The basis for one terrific looking and handling cafe racer, obber or Moto Giro bike.
I installed the side stand today with one I found in my parts box of old Italian parts.
No idea on the actual mileage on this bike.
Checking to see if I have a title for this bike.
Not sure as Connecticut is not a title state and the DMV does not ask for or issue titles for vehicles this old.
