I've grown too old for long road trips anymore and so it's time to let my baby go. Now I just have my bar bike and that is fine.
The bike was featured in Hot Rod Bikes magazine back in 2004 when it was originally built by High Country Harley Davidson. The motor has been rebuilt since then by Full Throttle motorcycles in Longmont Colorado. All paperwork is on hand for the work done.
This baby is obscenely fast and reliable. I have taken it to California three times since it's rebuild and it just purrs at 105 MPH on Hwy 50 in Nevada.
The cruise control is set to a max of 90 MPH and she will sit there and go all day... or at least till she needs gas.
I really can't say enough about this bike!! I've run neck and neck with Bosses and they never suspected the motor was built until it was over. Great fun!
The bike looks used and so could use some touch up on the paint etc.
- It is set up for a guy with 30" inseam. I have short legs and the front fork is dropped an inch as are the progressive shocks in the rear. The seat is also molded to prevent having to spread your legs uncomfortably.
My boot heels reach the ground comfortably.
- The saddlebags are felt lined with handy storage pockets in the tops.- I have two windshields- It will come with TWO SET of brand new AVON tires.- The tires on it now are in brand new condition!- The radio's screen is blank but it works well otherwise.- The lighter works.- The left dash glove-box has some dings from when I used to strap my iPod there.- The fuel cover does not spring open and there is an easy technique to open it. Thieves will likely not know how to make it work though.- The bike has an alarm.- It comes with three fobs, ut only two can be active at any time.- It has a Baker 6 speed tranny 1-1.- Barnett Clutch- It comes with the Hot Rod Bikes article in a Plaque, s in the pictures.- I will try to find the original magazine. It's around here somewhere.
