Ownership History:

This bike has a history of interest to any collector of the Bar and Shield: Two of the three previous owners are employees of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and have taken particular pride in maintaining and preserving this classic piece of Harley-Davidson history. The previous owner of 13 years was an assembly line technician who was one of a few factory specialists that assembled springer front ends. That owner was an avid rider who not only enjoyed taking the bike for long runs but also took meticulous care of the bike by maintaining it to factory specs per the Softail Shop Manual, hich is included in the sale.

The current owner is also a Harley-Davidson employee who recognized the rarity, istorical value and unique color combination of this model. During the past year the bike was subject to a thorough detail and preservation, ringing its appearance to a high level of originality. It was displayed at the Harley Davidson Factory Open House celebration in September 2015.
