Description

Selling my VRXSE Destroyer drag bike. This Bike has beennothing but good to me at the end of last year I was able to win the 2015 Probike Class with it. She is so much more than just an out of the Box Destroyer.
After looking into the Destroyer and discussing with the community a little more, learned there were some design flaws with the bike. Some of them like a 2nd gear that would go out were catastrophic. That and since this bike sat for 8 years in a collection prior to me getting it. So to ensure my destroyer was bullit proof I sent it off to one of the two Destroyer mechanics in the us (Ray Vreeland, reelands Harley.)
Last winter 2014 Ray and his crew went completely through the bike and did the following:
- Installed a new 19-2 Front Sprocket- Re did the clutch with Medium Springs and set it up for a 200 lb rider (Instead of the 140 lbs rider it was set up for previously)- Completely replaced the Second gear- Replaced the stock oil plugs that had a tendency to b pushed out- Installed a billet Clutch Hub- Installed a new 23.5 x 4.5 -18 Front Tire (M/T)- Installed a new 25.0 X 7.0-18 Rear Tire (Goodyear) 195.00 (M/T)- Installed a new Screaming Eagle Super Tuner- Installed a cooling Switch to be able to control the bike
Then when I got the bike back I picked up an extra:
- Clutch pack with extra springs- Bought two extra rear tires. One a M/T and the other one a limited run of the Goodyears that were designed for the bike.
Once I got the bike back the spring of 2015 I began to race it. After only one season The bike has easily run consistent 9's in the 1/4 mile at elevation and is truly bullet proof. I stayed with the stock tuning that Ray put into the bike, owever with the new tuning kit he installed the sky is the limit.
Since I travel for work I am not able to ride and race the bike like I want to so sadly I am going to part with it. If you get this it will be better than a stock Destroyer you but because it has been made bull-it proof and cost over 7K to make it so (Receipts will come with the bike).
This is truly a turn key operation and all you need to do is hop on and race.
As for the Stock Specifications the bike:
The VRXSE Screamin' Eagle Destroyer was Harley-Davidson's first out-of-the-box drag racer. Based on their VRSC family of motorcycles and tuned by H-D's Custom Vehicle Operations, he Screamin' Eagle can run the quarter mile in under 10 seconds. A very limited number were produced. A few modifications have been made to this example in terms of aesthetics -- the sail panels have been removed from the wheelie bar and the exhaust header has been coated in black - but otherwise the bike is as new and is in concours condition.
