This bike belongs to my friend of 20+ years. TONS of money was invested when built back in the day, nd receipts are included. There is no title, t was lost. BUT, e was in the process of having that done when in the meantim, e was in a serious accident on his other bike that almost killed him, nd he gave up riding. So this has been sitting for about 4 years.
He did get a state issued "Assigned Identification Number" tag for the frame as shown. There is also a certificate of origin for the transmission. I also have a Minnesota Registration renewal receipt. And an affidavit of reconstruction assembly. And although I am including all this paperwork, am selling this as a parts bike, ue to the lack of title. With that said, lease read on:
The bike does not currently run. BUT I know she was a runner. The owner was not only a friend of mine for 20+ years, e was President of my Club for 9 years. Ive been on many a trip with this bike by my side (and rode it a few times). And it SCREAMS! When it was first built in 200, ust about everything but the frame and the motor, as purchased new, ebuild, r replaced. The cases are original flat side '69. Heads bare the original '66 date codes. Jugs do not look original. They are not date coded, nd have a triangular symbol on them.
The motor is stroked. I do not know the exact specs, ut it's hard to hold on when ya gas it. Its a kicker only with an open primary belt drive. Bike is very low to the ground (26" seat height) and the center of gravity is incredible (bike is extremely easy to handle). Although its seen over a decade of use, ts still in super nice shape with patina to be expected.
There is way too much on the receipts to list. From the chrome swingarm to the Mallory distributor, his bike is loaded with goodies ! But once again I want to be clear when I say the bike is sold for parts due to lack of title. But the motor alone is worth bidding on. Flat side pan/shovels were only made for 3 years. Feel free to shoot me buy it now offers, orst I can do is say no.
I DO NOT want full payment made until you contact me FIRST for final arrangements. Please feel free to send me your number if you want to talk about the bike over the phone for more information. There is a $200 non-refundable desposit required within 48 hours. If bike is not paid for within 7 days, he deposit is forfeited. Thanks for looking !
