Award winning 2016 Harley Davidson Roadglide Special

Built ByBR Hotrods & BaggersWe began with a brand new 2016 Roadglide Special that came factoryequippedwith ABS, avigation, luetooth, M, ruise Control, .5" boom audio etc..
We rode it straight to the shop and began the award winning transformation you see in the pics, ot only was it built using a brand new bike, nd in less than five weeks, t has won 4 out of 4 shows entered, ncluding a (Master Builder) award at Myrtle Beachbike week just two weeks ago!We started by correctly setting the rake and trail by using a Misfit Industries shortneck kit for a 30" wheel, ttached to the billet triple trees are Performance Machine forks and Eddie Trotta fork sliders that together make for a killer look!At the end of the forks spins a Performance Machine 30" Paramount wheel in show chrome along with a matching 16" rotor and 8 piston caliper Megabrake system, ll in show chrome as well, overing the badasswheel is a Russ Wernimont steel wrap fender!On the other end of the forks is a pair of the new HD 10" chiseled handlebars, e kept it clean and simple with HD billet mirrors and custom HD grips.On the inside of the PM forks is an (instant up) air ride kit from AirFX, t uses only ultra high quality solenoids and switches, s well as billet rear air cylinders vs a converted Corvette shock like most kits, t also has a hidden billet aluminum air tank that maintains 190psi at all times sothere's never any waiting, imply set it to your desired height and roll out.
Thanks to the rear air ride we were able to use an electric, nodized billetaluminumcenter stand from MRI that makes every park job look like a bike show!
Moving on to the body, e installed a stretched tank and dash, tretched side covers, nd stretched bags and rear fender all from the (Comp Killer) line from TOL, ll of these parts including the factory outer and inner fairings, ere painted with a custom mixed bright silver, fter the silver dried we laid out a killer set of old school flames and covered them with 23kt Gold leaf, nce that was dry we applied copious amounts of Glasurit show clear.Next up all panels were wet blocked so the flames could be outlined by hand and drop shadows applied withthe airbrush.Upnext, ou guessed it, even more coats of Glasurit clear!After it was allowed to cure, he block sanding and handpolishing began, hich took approx four days, ut the finish speaks for itself, e wanted something traditional and classy, ot just another 12 tone zig zag paint job, nd we nailed it!We normally chargeapprox $7500 for just a paint job like this on a bagger.During final assembly we installed a J&M Rokker 330watt amp as well as Rokker 6.65 speakers to handle the power loud and clear!
