Description

The following is the description of this bike written by the current owner. I am listing it for him.

This beautiful 1962 FLH Panhead was purchased by me from the second owner in 1990. I have kept it in a garage ever since that time. This is a bike in its original factory condition with no restoration or modifications ever performed on it. This bike has never been molested!

Included in this package are the original owner’s manual, actory warranty and other miscellaneous literature that the dealer provided upon purchase.

The paint is the original Hi-Fi blue and white. The paint is flawless other than a chip on the front fender. The paint finish has never (to my knowledge) been compounded or buffed out.

All the chrome is original and is in great condition. There is some patina on toolbox, ims and fender trims. All the aluminum has been polished to a chrome finish.

The front and rear tires are Goodyear Silver Eagle 100 stamped H-D.

This bike comes with its original Duo-Glide suspension.

The carburetor is the factory installed Linkert. The stock throttle cables are still in the handle bars and the stock throttle is in great shape.

The battery was replaced last year.

The transmission is in great shape. The clutch is smooth to operate.

The rear chain is great condition.

Included in this deal is a rare, actory option, wo-piece, ully enclosed chain guard.

The hard bags are not original bubble bags; I believe they were an after-market purchase. The original mounting hardware is present.

The wiring, peedometer and key ignition switch are original. Mileage is documented as 13106.

The detachable windshield has the blue tint on the bottom. It is cracked but the framework is undamaged.

The swing arm frame is in great shape and all tabs are present. The seat, unning boards, egs and pedals are all stock.

This bike will grab your attention and is a joy to ride
