1978 Harley Davidson FX Shovelhead

For your consideration is a used 1978 Harley Davidson FX. The motor is 1200cc and runs fine. Four speed factory transmission and original primary drive. S&S Billet oil pump installed with oil cooler. While being an original factory FX a previous owner converted it to an FL. The conversion included and upgrade to rubber mounted gas tanks and an adjustable trail fork with dampener for use with a sidecar, f desired. True mileage is unknown. The bike was running and shifting fine when disassembly started.
I purchased the motorcycle a couple years back with the intention of rebuilding/bobbing it. That hasn’t been realized and the bike is now being offer for sale/auction.
