Up for auction is a 1954 Harley Davidson FL Hydra Glide Panhead Deluxe "50th Anniversary" edition. This is a 74 cubic inch panhead kick start bike and has a foot clutch and tank shifter.

The spring tune up was just completed and included having the carburetor professionally rebuilt, ew clutch and brake rubber, ew HD rubber peg covers, ew kick start pedal, resh oil and a new battery.

This bike starts and runs on the first or second kick almost all the time….. it’s fun to drive and rides great. It has a beautiful blue and white stripe paint job that draws attention everywhere it goes.

It has only 2445 miles on it since a complete frame up rebuild.

I am not an expert, ut to the best of my knowledge most of the bike is original.

There are several major items that I know are not original:

Most notable are the dual front disc brakes, hich really stop the bike great (the original front struts, rakes and front wheel with the brake drum come with the bike)

It has a ‘Sportster” carb and aftermarket air filter.

I believe it has 1950 gas tank emblems.

The seat is a correct reproduction of the 54 solo seat custom made and slightly “aged” by Worsham Castle Leather works.

The shift knob is a recreation of a 50th anniversary logo on the knob.

There are other aftermarket parts, ostly “chrome bling” like the battery cover, egulator cover, oolbox, ey box, tc, o check out the pictures.

It comes with a “50th Anniversary” front fender emblem as well as a reproduction trumphet horn both of which are not currently installed.

It also comes with three brand new 7” 6V replacement headlights, nd several other 6V bulbs for the “spot” lights and Misc Parts shown in the photo.

If you have the skills, ith some time and effort you could restore the bike to original condition and it would be worth at least twice what I am asking. Or better yet, ust ride it and enjoy it…. You don’t have to worry about using it like you would with a perfect restoration.

It comes with a clear North Carolina title in my name.
