1983 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FXE Super Glide

1983 Harley Davidson Shovelhead FXE Super Glide in all original condition...

This is a numbers matching bike that has never been restored.

Narrow glide 35mmfront end, 340cc engine, speed transmission and swing arm all originalto this bike.

There are a few small modifications that can easily be changed back to OEM style...

The original owner added aftermarket turn signals front and rear, nd changed the rear fender and tail light..

The fuel tank was changed from a 3 to a 5 gallon, nd the speedometer was also changed so

the mileage of 21,245 that shows is not the actual mileage....but fairly close.

It has a few scratches in the paint and some light rust here and there, utin very good condition overall.

It Runs and drives excellent, ne of the best shovelheads I have seen.

It's alsothe only one I've seen that doesn't leak a drop of oil.

The bike starts on the first tap of the starter and idles perfectly.

It's also fun to ride because it shifts so smoothly and stops very well with the dual disc front brakes.

Last year of the true Shovelhead, 984 Shovels switched to the newEvolution Engines.

I have a new OEM style 3 gallon tank and rear fender as well as other misc. parts to be included with the sale.

The California title is clear and registration is good until Jan. 2017.

Bike still has the original blue California license plate it came with.
